There are two types of light therapy devices on the market, the difference being the measured amount of energy output:
High Power
Hot Lasers cause thermal changes in the skin and traumatize tissues to stimulate the wound response and are normally used by professionals in the medical field to quicken results.
Low Powered devices with an output of less than 5 mW are not capable of inducing thermal changes in the tissue and supply a healing anti-inflammatory effect rather than a destructive one. Due to its non-invasive nature you can use the Cool Light HFD on saggy eye lids and this cannot be attempted by any heated laser on the market.
The Phytoscan Cool Light HFD contains an interchangeable pen device with an ionization chamber which enhances the activity of the phytoactive gels. A range of phytoactive gels have been formulated for specific treatments with Phytoscan Cool Light HFD.
